Our event is based in the vibrant city of Glasgow, offering a convenient and exciting location for the workshop and tournaments. Join us in this lively setting and be part of an unforgettable HEMA experience.
SoS is a URG focused workshop and tournament event that aims to promote the fantastic URG instructors and fencers in HEMA. Nine incredible instructors will be teaching a wide variety of weapons and systems on the Saturday. Everyone is welcome to attend the workshops, regardless of gender. While on Sunday there will be three URG-only tournaments: rated sabre and longsword, as well as a less serious Wheel of Fortune tournament.

Suit of Swords was founded in order to create a safe and inclusive space in which URG fencers are celebrated and given the recognition they deserve. However unintentional, URG events often get sidelined in favour of larger, Open events, Suit of Swords aims to create an event where URG fencers and instructors are the stars of the show for the whole weekend.

While we considered making the entire event URG-only, we realized that it is important for non-URG fencers to learn from our URG instructors and see their clubmates thrive in tournaments, both competitive and fun!
